What is TICTAS?
TICTAS stands for Tahqiq Initiative for Critical Thinking and Advanced Studies.
It is a distinctive AEI initiative created to empower students to think deeply, speak confidently, communicate meaningfully, and engage responsibly with contemporary academic, social, ethical, and civilizational questions.
TICTAS is more than a media platform. It is a learning ecosystem where students move beyond passive learning and become active participants in dialogue, discussion, reflection, content creation and intellectual engagement.
At TICTAS, ideas are explored, questions are discussed, perspectives are examined, and meaningful conversations begin.
Why TICTAS Matters
In today's world, knowledge alone is not enough. Students must also learn how to:
- Think critically
- Communicate clearly
- Speak confidently
- Present ideas effectively
- Engage respectfully in dialogue
- Navigate complex global issues
Unfortunately, these essential skills are rarely cultivated deeply at school level.
But at Ascents, our TICTAS platform addresses this gap by creating structured opportunities for students to engage in intellectual dialogue, public speaking, interviews, discussions, debates, and reflective communication.
